A hidden-gem hibachi & ramen kitchen with anime vibes
Itachi Teppanyaki & Ramen opened when a longtime hibachi chef finally struck out on his own, and word has been spreading ever since. Reviewers call it a "hidden gem" — a small, easy-to-miss spot that turns out enormous, sizzling teppanyaki plates of steak, chicken, shrimp, and scallops alongside grilled vegetables and fried rice, all cooked to order and "not stingy on the servings."
The ramen is the other headline act: a fully-loaded tonkotsu-style bowl piled with chashu pork, a soft egg, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and nori, served alongside crisp gyoza and crab rangoons. One regular who drives in from Houston just to eat here put it simply — between the huge portions and the anime-decorated dining room, "is it worth the drive? YES it is!"
Service is friendly and attentive, the kitchen moves fast, and the flavors have earned a 4.7-star reputation built almost entirely on word of mouth. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you come for the ramen and leave planning your next hibachi order.
